Threads

The Annual System Dynamics Conference invites papers presenting quantitative and rigorous qualitative work on dynamic problems emphasizing feedback structure and the manner in which it generates behavior. System Dynamics is, by its nature, cross-disciplinary but the classification of papers into threads, some methods based and some systems based, improves conference session organization. Within each thread, we welcome different analytic and computational approaches beyond stock and flow modeling, including discrete event and agent-based modeling with a focus on system behavior.

Threads are used to organize material submitted to the conference. Each thread has two Thread Chairs (shown in parentheses) who are responsible for reviewing work submitted for their thread and organizing it into sessions. When you submit work you will be asked to identify both a primary and secondary thread. This provides the Program Committee the flexibility to rearrange sessions to form a coherent program. Though the threads are meant to be inclusive, not all work may clearly fit into the defined threads. If you do not feel that the descriptions appropriately capture the nature of your work pick the ones you find closes, and provide a note to the Program Committee in the Paper Info page.

Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics

Learning and Teaching

Methodology
